Has the introduction of the point and click light weight camera in some way demeaned the art with all it's nuances and techniques?
Some would say this is so, but there again, surely it is the end result that matters the most. The creativity portrayed with photography, the fun of the recollection of events. I happen to have a foot in both camps, a fence sitter so to speak.
There is something deeply satisfying in downloading or developing the results of one's endeavors, capturing moments to be remembered and admired. I find photography in its many guises both rewarding and relaxing.
